OAP Rehearsal Tuesday, September 28

Notes from Tuesday
1. Tucker, study your lines. EVERYONE study your lines.
2. Lights - Sun up on cue with Brigid's line.
3. Macy - Sea Mither
4. Brooke and Tatum - Practice the Irish words - Listen to Nathan. Be careful of getting into a habit and you won't be able to say them correctly because the incorrect way will be ingrained.
5. Louder, Hannah Almstead.
6. Macy, when you are speaking, walk downstage of people like the school teacher.
7. Tucker, you don't need to stomp off - just walk off deliberately.
This was a great rehearsal. The first eight pages went smoothly. Mica McGuire is working on costumes. We should have those designs completed by Tuesday. I will pick up patterns and material for parents.

We will have rehearsal on Friday 4-5 since the game is here. Please let me know if this works.

September 26

It's unreal that we survived our first rehearsal!
A few things EVERYONE needs to work on
1. Our first judge is a diction MANIAC. Even if we have the best play, we will not place if he can understand the other plays better.
2. Hit the consonants.
3. BE LOUD
4. You are cutting the line " I wish I could."
5. When everything was gray - Tucker, don't forget that.
5. Lights up when the sun goes up.
6. Brooke and Jake - louder
7. Everyone work on the foreign words - Ta Draiocht anseo and Ta' dochas anseo.

Things that are changed for Tuesday
1. Music is longer at the beginning.
2. There is music when the Seanachi are rising from the dead.
3. Sage, you are god-like - You are mother nature. You love your subjects as in people.
